Single Tracks
1 – Shakta – Solar Nomads (Early Version) [Pushed On By The Solar Winds] 8:00
1995 / Source: Fabien Marsaud / “This early version of ‘Solar Nomads’ has very few similarities with the track released on Various – The Eternal Frequency (Phantasm Records). ‘Solar Nomads’ is much more simple et linear than ‘Solar Nomads (Early Version Version)’, which sounds more melodic and in the vein of ‘Between Nothing’, but without truly taking off.” [Fabien Marsaud]
2 – Shakta – Space Flowers (Alternate Version) 8:14
1999 / Source: DJ Sunborn / 1 minute longer with less FX and melodies than the version released on the album “The Enlightened Ape” / 148 BPM
3 – Shakta – Spiritual Beings In Physical Bodies (Early Version) 6:34
1995 / Source: Fabien Marsaud / “The early version has a resemblance with the track released on the album Silicon Trip.” It contains the famous sample “Clarity of the membrane that exists between worlds, the seen and the unseen, the physical and the spiritual and we are spiritual beings in physical bodies” in the very beginning, but with a slightly different intro. Then the track is much more simple: that massive and long psychedelic melody that transcends you in the released version is missing. Structurally, it sounds much more like ‘Amber Mantra’, ‘Cosmic Trigger’, ‘Between The Nothing’, etc. Clearily, all these tracks have been produced during the same period.” [Fabien Marsaud]
4 – Shakta – Zevel Boy (Remix) 7:45
1999 / Source: DJ Sunborn / 1 minute longer and with less FX than the version released on the album “The Enlightened Ape”
Collaboration
5 – Shakta & Ping Pong – No Name [Banging NRG Noom Style] 6:55
1995 / Source: Fabien Marsaud / “This track with Ping Pong is much more NRG Trance style (albeit less than ‘Brainwashed‘).” [Fabien Marsaud]
