“This is an interesting tune I received from Zohar Frankor, the main guy behind the fairly unknown Bom Shiva project. Meni Meni Sounds was a short-lived Israeli project. This track is not the standard Israeli Nitzhonot as played by Eyal Barkan, Ezotery Space or Shidapu, rather some kind of ‘The Muses Rapt meets Nitzhonot’. Back in 1999, quite a few Israeli youngsters produced this kind of Nitzho, such as Illusion Shankara, Hidden Trip and Tayfoon. Most of these were popular only locally and Greece wasn’t interested in them either. Zohar Frankor told me that this Meni Meni Sounds guy tried to imitate the melodies and sounds Tayfoon used in their CD (which seems to be true, the track resembles closely ‘World Of Space‘, even the trackname is copied!). Source is a 128 kbps mp3 file and production date is 1999.”
